How to Reload the Operating System on a Briked BlackBerry.

Hey guys today i am going to teach you how to re-install the blackberry operation system on a bricked blackberry..
a bricked Blackberry usually looks like this..

with a white deadly screen giving "507" error

(Note: this is not a "newbie" tutorial, you need to have some knowledge about this)

From past few months i have gone through this white screen many times
*While re installing the os (when my phone becomes laggy)
*Installing a BlackBerry theme that wasn’t appropriate for my device/OS version.
*Installing beta software that was glitchy, and one time during an OS upgrade the installation failed.

You can overcome this problems, you just need to have a little knowledge about these stuff and 45 minutes.

You just need to make sure you have...
*A Windows Computer
*A USB Cable
*The Blackberry operating system (that you want to load) installed on your computer

You can download the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager from the BlackBerry.com website

Keep in mind that its not necessary to install the same version that you were having before
you can install any version e.g official os, Hybrid, Leaked Firmware.
(But i recommend installing official os, because they don't have any errors)

And this Tutorial is not just for bricked Blackberry, you can also use this to install a clean, re install (in case you are finding your device laggy)

So enough of my talking, now lets just start installing.

Step 1: Make sure your BlackBerry CONNECTED to your computer.go to your C: Drive and navigate Program Files > Common Files >Research In Motion > AppLoader. Once you are in the AppLoader folder, double click on the Loader application shortcut. Once Loader opens, follow step 2

(in  Step 1 we made your way to Program Files > Common Files >Research In Motion > AppLoader)

Step 2:(Click Next)

(in connection your phone should be there with you "pin xxxxx"[if its not showing up, your phone is not connected properly] and click next)

and then the Loader will connect to phone (it will take few minutes)

Step 3:  select the apps you want and click next.
This is the list of the apps you selected, make sure everything important is selected before clicking next

Now just sit back and relax and let the installer do its thing...

Things To Keep In Mind While Buying a Laptop

Laptops are becoming increasingly popular and people are preferring laptops more than the desktop computers. This is because of many reasons. One main reason amongst many is portability, we can take a laptop anywhere we want. There are many other benefits of using a laptop, like there is no need for a UPS as the laptop battery serves the purpose of a UPS.

The components of a laptop are more integrated and compatible, there is less chance of incompatible hardware and conflicting drivers Not all laptops are made equal. Laptops can be customized to certain modes of use. For example, if you are a hardcore gamer, you will prefer a different laptop than a person who wants to use the laptop in the office There are a few common considerations that need to be addressed when purchasing a laptop. Let’s discuss some of them.

The first and foremost thing that should be taken into consideration is the price of the laptop. You will need to consider your budget range before selecting the laptop brand. Toshiba is the choice of many people who want a high end budget laptop. Other choices may include Dell, HP, Lenovo and Acer. If you want a really light laptop with only the basic functions, you can go for a netbook or if you only want to read an e-book, an eBook Reader instead of the laptop will be advised. There are numerous other options like an iPad or smart phones for on the go mobile computing.

Performance

Performance is a major factor which should be taken into consideration with care. You will need to determine what is the purpose of buying the laptop, what type of applications will run on the laptop and how much system resources they take. After determining your needs, you may select the best processor, the amount or RAM and hard drive, the graphics card etc. Core i7 is the most recommended processor while Core i3 is a budget processor with good performance.

Ports

This is usually ignored by many people while buying a laptop. But in my opinion it is very important to look for as all the ports you need should be present in the laptop. Some laptops include only one USB port. If you need more, you should either think of an external USB hub which should be taken with the laptop all the time or you should consider a laptop with atleast 3 USB ports. If you want to connect a monitor with the laptop, you should consider an HDMI port instead of the standard VGA (if your monitor supports HDMI).

Wireless and External Storage

Nowadays everything is going wireless and it is becoming absolutely necessary to have the wireless components built into the laptop instead of buying separate wireless cards. You should consider a laptop which has wi-fi and bluetooth built-in. Similarly, if the laptop has an option for plugging in external storage like SD cards. it will be an added plus.

These are few things that you will need to consider while buying a laptop. I hope this has been useful for you and will help you when you buy your next laptop. If you are considering other thing when buying a laptop, what are those?

3. Edit sysoc.inf to list all software
To show all software that can be removed from your computer (including protected Windows services), you can manually edit (using notepad for example) the sysoc.inf file located in Windowsinf. Just remove the word hide next to the software pack.

*Note* - use this at your own risk. Removing critical components of the system will make Windows instable.

4. Windows XP comes with IPv4 and IPv6
Windows XP comes both IPv4 and IPv6 support. To enable IPv6, you can install the protocols needed with the command "ipv6 install" in the command-prompt. Then type ipv6 /? to see the options. The installation will not remove the IPv4 protocols so your current configuration will still work.

5. Access Task Manager with shortcut
To access the Task Manager easier, you can make a shortcut that points to%windir%system32taskmgr.exe

6. Stop treating ZIP files like Folders
If you don't want your Windows XP to treat ZIP files like folders, you can disable this component by runningregsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll at the command prompt or Run dialog. If you start missing it, you can enable it by typing regsvr32 zipfldr.dll.

You can switch users leaving the applications opened too (*NOTE* use this only when needed since it could lead to system instability).

Go to Task Manager - processes and end the process explorer.exe. This will end only your session and not all applications. Then go to Applications tab, click New task and type runas /user:domainnameusername explorer.exe. A password prompt will appear to login to the desired username. The user's session will start, with all your previously applications running.
I recommend to open first a command-line prompt and type runas /? to see all the options available.

Rename multiple files in Windows at once. Select them all, right click and select Rename. Enter the desired name. They will be renamed using what you specified, with a number in brackets to distinguish them.

You can use the systeminfo.exe command in the command prompt to see System Information, including all Windows updates and hotfixes.

14. Disable system services for maximum performance
There are system services that you can disable to free up the system's load. To access the interface that permits you to make changes to system's services, type services.msc and the command prompt.

This is a list of services that are *usually* useless and can be safely disabled.
Alerter
Application Layer Gateway Service,
Application Management

*NOTE*: Make sure you don't need them since some applications you're using could depend on them. If you make any application to fail by disabling any of the services, go back and enable it again.

15. Repair Windows XP by using the XP installation CD
If your system failes to start due to an error related to missing HAL.DLL, invalid Boot.ini or any other critical system boot files you can repair this by using the XP installation CD. Simply boot from your XP Setup CD and enter the Recovery Console. Then run "attrib -H -R -S" on the C:Boot.ini file and delete it. Run "Bootcfg /Rebuild" and then Fixboot.
